Most of the experiences at Perfect Day at CocoCay are complimentary, and there are plenty of free beach chairs and beachside activities — not to mention five new complimentary dining venues located throughout the island. Other attractions, like Thrill Waterpark®, Floating Cabanas, the Zip Line, and Up, Up and Away helium balloon, are available for a charge.
There are endless thrills and ways to chill at Perfect Day at CocoCay—from the tallest waterslide in North America and a helium balloon ride offering the highest vantage point in the region, to serene white-sand beaches and private floating cabanas. On January 31st, 2020 Royal Caribbean officially opened Coco Beach Club, the final neighborhood in the Phase 1 expansion of their private island in the Bahamas, Perfect Day at CocoCay. We’ve put together a full review video of what’s new on the island, including Coco Beach Club with it’s Bora Bora style bungalows, the revamped South Beach and the rest of the neighborhoods on the island. If you want to maximize your time on the island, make sure to hitch a ride on the complimentary tram service that comes by every 15 minutes or so, making stops at the Arrivals Plaza, Chill Island and Oasis Lagoon. You can find the tram routes on the island map. Looking to kick back? Beach chairs and umbrellas are complimentary for all guests and offered in many places on the island. Towels can easily be exchanged throughout the day at two of the exchange stations. You can also make use of the lockers to store your personal belongings. Perfect Day at CocoCay is a hands-on adventure! Onboard internet packages from VOOM, the fastest internet at sea, work on the island—meaning you can Instagram all of the thrills and chills you’d like. Wi-Fi access may be limited on beaches, however.
There’s an admission charge per person to access the exclusive Coco Beach Club and enjoy the beautiful sandy beach, clubhouse and infinity pool. Beach chairs and umbrellas are included in the admission price along with complimentary dining at upscale The Grille at Coco Beach Club.
For your own private area, overwater cabanas can be rented for up to 8 guests to share. Prices vary according to the seasonal demand from $949 to $1549 per day for beach cabanas including beach club admission. There are also overwater cabanas with their own overwater hammock, shower and slide into the sea for $999 to $1599 including Beach Club admission.

There will be 20 cabanas which guests can enjoy but as expected they won’t be available as part of the cruise. There is a 2,600-square-foot beachfront infinity pool to enjoy and take in the Caribbean vibes.
The overwater cabanas will include an overwater hammock, a slide into the ocean, dining area, lounge chairs, freshwater shower, and dedicated attendant. A Coco Beach Club restaurant is also available.
Royal Caribbean’s Thrill Waterpark is a mega watersports paradise with 13 waterslides, a record-breaking Wave Pool, Adventure Pool and Snack Shack serving complimentary food and snacks. Guests under 42 inches in height are required to wear a swim vest to use the Adventure Pool and Wave Pool.
This amazing experience allows cruisers to get a bird’s eye view of the island, its attractions and the surrounding beautiful blue ocean and golden sandy beaches. It gently rises 450 feet in the air and carries 30 passengers at a time.
No pre-reservation is available as it only runs when wind conditions are favorable. Just buy your ticket when you arrive on the island for your Perfect Day at CocoCay.

What’s all included in Travel Protection Plus?
Pre-Departure Penalty Waiver provided by Apple Vacations (non-insurance features)
Cancel for Any Reason: You may cancel for ANY reason prior to departure and receive a full refund less the cost of the Travel Protection Plan*. This feature even reimburses normally non-refundable airfares and the refund is always made in the original form of payment. Non-refundable hotel rates are not included.
Price Guarantee: Guarantees the lowest price on the vacation booking! If the price of the hotel or Exclusive Nonstop Vacation Flight portion on your vacation drops after booking the reservation, just let us know and we’ll adjust the reservation to the lower price. For the Price Guarantee to apply, the price adjustment must be made to the reservation while the lower Apple Vacations rate is available. Valid on Mexico, Caribbean, Hawaii and Central America vacations.
No Supplier Revision Fees: Need to make a change? No problem! Any supplier revision fees for the FIRST instance are protected including hotel and airline penalties, so you won’t be charged additional fees to make a change to your reservation.
Hurricane Travel Credit**: If a Category One or greater hurricane disrupts a vacation for 24 hours or more, travelers will receive a refund for unused or interrupted vacation nights plus a future vacation discount certificate. Valid for reservations departing June through November.

Trip Interruption: Reimburses (up to the total trip cost) unused hotel arrangements plus additional costs to change or purchase a new airline ticket if you can’t travel due to circumstances such as illness or injury to you, a family member, or traveling companion, jury duty, subpoena, or a traffic accident on the way to the airport.
Travel Delay: Reimburses additional transportation costs or unused hotel arrangements should your flight be delayed 12 or more hours due to adverse weather or unannounced strike. The plan reimburses you up to $500 ($200 per day) for the unused portion of your trip, additional accommodations, meals and “catch up” transportation expenses.
Emergency Evacuation: Pre-pays the cost of emergency medical transportation if a serious illness or injury occurs during your vacation that requires medical evacuation.
Baggage/Personal Property: Reimburses you for baggage or items lost, stolen, or damaged during your vacation.
Medical Expense: Reimburses medical costs should you incur hospital charges or other medical bills as a result of an illness or injury during your vacation.
Baggage Delay: Reimburses for the purchase of necessary personal items if your bags are delayed by the airline for 24 hours or longer. How Do You Purchase Travel Protection Plus?
While you are building your vacation, you can select Travel Protection Plus from the Add-Ons menu, or add it during the first step of the check-out process in the Travel Protection section. Travel Protection Plus can only be purchased online during the booking process. To add travel protection after you have made your reservation, call your travel agent or if you did not book through a travel agent, call Apple Vacations customer service at 888-588-6654. Travel Protection Plus may only be added within 7 days of your initial deposit, provided you have not yet made your final payment.
